Another set of incremental changes. This time almost only affecting the Public Site

1. Bugfix: Fixed a bug that kept the Single Quote page from working on the production system, while it worked on the test system.
2. Internal featureIn the List View, Sites can now be grouped through a popup
3. The Single Quote page now works on the Public Site
4. The Random Quote page now works on the Public Site
5. The Public Site now offers the correct profile options
6. The Public Site allows to share quotes or save them to your QuoteVault (if logged in)
7. Sorting by Tags works on the Public Site now
8. Added sophisticated caching, to increase the overall speed
9. The Single Quote page also offers sharing options now
10. The Single Quote page now allows to comment on quotes using Disqus

After a long hiatus, QuoteVault is back on the road. Today's update contains a couple of smaller changes:

1. Public Site Template: There's a new (& far more beautiful) template for the public site now.
2. Speed: Removed debugging clutter. The whole app should be faster now.
3. Listing Public Entires: Public entries can now be listed in the list view.
4. New Django Version: Updated the System to the current Django release. This will ease the adding of new features in the future.
5. Public Site Enhancements: With the new template also comes the blueprint for additional functionality which will be rolled out soon. Currently, the public site is still work-in-progress though.

I just updated QuoteVault. I fixed several issues and implemented several new features, some of them are listed below:

1. Public Site RSS: Your public Site does have RSS now, so your friends can subscribe to your Quote Stream.
2. Random Quote: The ability to see random, public, quotes from other users.
3. More Information: We added a new field to the Quotes. Bibliographical Data allows you to save detailed information about the origins of the quote.

As you can see, there is a new feature now. On this Blog, I'll try to inform you of updates & new features that appear within QuoteVault on a regular basis.

I've been using QuoteVault over the past year for almost all my academic research. I constantly honed, and perfected it, and it's slowly maturing up to a point, where I feel it's starting to get ready to be used by a wider audience. That's why I decided to let other people register, as well.

That means, though, that I'm not the only one anymore, who's using the software. And that, again, means that whenever I change or add something, I should inform the other users. That's one of the reasons why I added this blog. More'll come soon.
